Ocean Universal in Westcourt, Cairns carries a proper spearfishing inventory. That's no accident — the store traded as Spearfishing Superstore, so that side of things is still what they're known for.

They've got rail spearguns, spearfishing wetsuits, long-blade fins, low-volume masks, weight belts, floats, dive knives, read full report and spearfishing accessories. Gear is chosen for tropical waters — not southern stuff that won't last in FNQ.

They became Ocean Universal because they'd already added scuba and freediving equipment over the years. But the spearfishing range wasn't scaled down. Spearfishing is still the backbone of the store.
